This recipe comes from Jordan's cousin Anne from Georgia. One year when the kids were really young we went to her house for Thanksgiving and I asked for her recipe. We actually collected pecans from their trees. It is a great memory.
- 3 eggs (beat well with fork)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 c white karo
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 c chopped pecans
Beat the eggs, add sugar, Karo, butter, and vanilla. Stir well, add pecans and stir. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 300° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
