FRUIT COBBLER (CAKE MIX)

From Dutch Oven Enrichment
  • 2 cans pie filling or you can use canned or bottled fruit, but you will need to thicken it.
  • 1 cake mix
  • 1 can of Sprite OR 1 cube of butter
Put pie filling in the bottom of a Dutch oven. Mix cake mix with Sprite and pour over the filling. OR mix dry cake mix with 1 cube of butter until the butter is mixed into the size of small peas, put on top of pie filling.

Put lid on and top with briquettes. Takes about 30-45 minutes to bake.
