FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES

In crock pot put:
  • 3 lb chuck roast (approximately)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • small amount of water
Cook all day. When ready to serve take roast out, pour out gravy (use as the gravy for dipping), put the roast back in the pot and shred (take off any unwanted fat pieces). Dish the roast onto hoagie type buns. Each person can put some of the gravy in a bowl for dipping.

For the auction they used 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 pkg. onion soup . Then when they took the meat out they added the soup mix to a pkg. of Au Jus mix (Made like the pkg. instructions). This recipe could be made either way.
